Experienced Securities Representative Returns to Firm after Sabbatical
Cary Stamp & Company is pleased to welcome Sharon Stamp back to the financial and wealth management firm after a long hiatus. Ms. Stamp will be serving in a support role for founder/CEO Cary Stamp, CFP®, CDFA® and Financial Advisor. Ms. Stamp previously worked for Cary Stamp & Company in 2002-2003, helping to establish the predecessor firm, Lincoln Park Financial Group in Chicago, with marketing, bookkeeping and administrative support.
Ms. Stamp graduated with a degree in Marketing & Communications from Penn State and started her career in Securities in 1991. She earned her Series 7 designation as a Securities Representative in 1992. She went on to work for some of the biggest names and boutique firms in the financial advisory industry, including Guilford Securities, Prudential Securities and Wachovia Securities. She has experience working as a financial sales assistant, supporting brokers, helping to manage accounts, taking trades, researching, providing information to the brokers and clients and serving in other financial-related capacities.
She took a long sabbatical to raise her daughter but when the opportunity arose to rejoin the firm, she decided to go back to work. Prior to her career in finance, Ms. Stamp worked as an assistant buyer at an East Coast department store and as a manager at Saks Fifth Avenue on Michigan Avenue. At Cary Stamp & Co., Ms. Stamp is providing administrative support, helping to keep Mr. Stamp’s calendar organized, doing some public relations and marketing, assisting with billing and more.
“We’re thrilled to have Sharon back at the firm. She not only has in-depth knowledge of how we work already but a decade of solid financial experience under her belt. We look forward to her accomplishments and welcome her support,” said Cary Stamp.
