Cary was born on a Philadelphia, PA naval base during the height of the VietNam War. He and his younger brother Jeremy grew up in Urbandale, Iowa. Cary’s parents are Iowa natives who still reside in the suburbs of Des Moines.
Cary attended West Des Moines Valley High School where he was very active on their award winning debate team. Leading his team to victories in several national tournaments, Cary helped make West Des Moines Valley one of the nation’s top high school debate teams. Cary was awarded a full ride scholarship for his incisive debate skills to the University of Southern California and then the University of Iowa where he earned his B.A. in History. Cary served as the debate team president for the A. Craig Baird Debate Forum at the University of Iowa as well as the Scholarship Chair and President of Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity.
After graduating from the University of Iowa, Cary started his career at Piper Jaffray, Inc. in 1990. At 29, he was an Associate Branch Manager for Principal Securities in Chicago. In 2002, Cary left the corporate brokerage environment and started a boutique firm in Chicago affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network®. In 2006, Cary fulfilled his lifelong dream of living in a warmer climate and near the water when he moved his family and his business to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In 2011, Cary relocated the offices of Cary Stamp & Company to the Tequesta area.
Cary is a frequent speaker on financial planning topics, has written many financial articles and has been quoted in print and on broadcast media.
Cary and his lovely wife Sharon have one daughter, Sarah. Cary coached his daughter’s soccer team for several years and enjoys attending her gymnastic competitions. Sarah attends The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens and loves to travel, going to summer camp, jet skiing, driving the golf cart for her Dad, and texting. Sharon is an organizational expert who keeps the house and office in top shape.
Cary has a passionate belief in giving back to his community. He serves on the board the of America Cancer Society for Northern PBC, and is a Sponsorship Chair for the Cancer Society’s Gala, 2011-2012. Cary is an Ambassador for the Honda Classic Golf Tournament, a recent graduate of the 2011 class of Leadership Palm Beach County, and a member of the 100 Friends of the First Tee of the Palm Beaches. Recently, Cary and Sharon started volunteering at the Edna Runner Tutorial Center and After Care Facility for low income families in Jupiter, Florida.
A member of a Tequesta area golf club, Cary loves to golf. He has a single digit handicap and it is his dream to someday play golf on every continent.
Carl was born on the Southwest Coast of Florida in the City of Sarasota. He is an avid tennis player and is a Florida State University Alumnus. Before joining Cary Stamp Company in 2010, Carl worked for the MetLife offices in Sarasota as a Financial Services Representative.
Now, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Carl has a broad base of knowledge in Divorce Litigation and Mediation Support, Investment Management, Tax Planning, Estate Planning and Insurance Planning. He current holds his FINRA Series 6, 7 and 66 securities registrations, as well as his Florida Life and Health License.
Carl completed the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ program through the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts in 2011 and obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification through The College for Financial Planning and the Florida Atlantic University College of Executive Education in 2012.
He annually attends the ADFP(Assosciation for Divorce Financial Planners) National Conference and AAML(American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers) Certification Review and the Institute to stay current the topics at hand. He is also trained in the practice of Collaborative Divorce by the Collaborative Family Law Institute. He serves as a member of the Collaborative Divorce Team of Palm Beach County.
Not one to sit still, Carl enjoys golf, tennis, hockey, traveling, snow skiing, boating and fishing. Carl serves as a board member of the Palm Beach County Seminole Club and serves as the Palm Beach County AVMA GHLIT Area Representative.
Jennie is a proud Florida native.She attended the University of Central Florida and graduated with a degree in Communications specializing in Advertising and Public Relations.In 2012, Jennie was hired to be the Customer Care Concierge for Cary Stamp & Company where she assists clients by telephone and in person.
She enjoys her responsibilities of managing the Tequesta office and providing client support on a daily basis.Jennie is a mother to two beautiful children and is happily married to Matt Wilson, a GM at a local golf club.
As a mother of two young children Jennie stays very active in the community attending various family events and volunteering at her kids school.When Jennie is not at the Tequesta office she can be found enjoying activities and sporting events with her children, improving her golf swing with Matt or walking her very rambunctious Golden Retriever Rosie!
